If you’re like me, Christmas cards are a quintessential part of the holiday season. I love to let my friends and family know that I’m thinking about them, and let’s be honest – I love to show off my kid. She’s just so darn cute! Photo cards help me to accomplish both goals. Win, win!
First, a little about Shutterfly. I have ordered products (of course featuring my cute kid) from them in the past, and was really impressed with their quality. Although I have never ordered cards from them before, I knew I was in for a treat when I opened their website.
Wow! Shutterfly has 796 choices of holiday cards in three different formats – folded cards, flat stationery cards, and flat photo cards. They were all so pretty, and suited a wide variety of styles. The website has a really cool interface, allowing you to sort cards by color, number of photos (even “0” for the camera shy), and designer.
I found several designs I really liked.
One design that caught my eye was the Merriest Wishes Mint card. This card is a flat stationery card. It has a very retro look, which of course I am all about (I once had a bungalow completely done over in a retro style). It also has a spot for a Santa picture, a family shot, and another shot of the little angel! It was on sale too! Regularly $2.99, these cards were on sale for $2.09!
Another card I liked was the Snowtastic Snowflakes folded card. Let’s face it, these colors are awesome! This one has room for my requisite three photos, plus the year and a monogram!
I thought that the Christmas Letter stationery card was cool because it includes space for a short letter (if you’re into that sort of thing)!
With so many awesome cards to choose from, I had a really hard time picking a favorite! I guess I had better do that soon!
